Explosive materials seized

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered six kilogramme explosive making materials worth Tk 328,000 from Yusufpur Padmarchar in Charghat, Rajshahi on Wednesday, reports UNB.

Tipped off, a team of BGB-1 conducted a drive in the area and recovered the explosive substance kept in a packet in an abandoned condition, said BGB-1 commanding officer Mohammad Tajul Islam.

However, none was arrested in this connection as the smugglers managed to flee the scene.
