Bangladeshi teacher nominated for GEG award
A Bangladeshi teacher has been nominated for the ‘Outstanding Educationist of Foreign Origin, Entrepreneurship-2019’ award by Global Entrepreneurship Grid (GEG), India.
The teacher is Mahboob Ali, currently serving at Dhaka School of Economics, an under graduate and post graduate institution of Dhaka University.
GEG chairman Bholanath Dutta confirmed it and the award will be given on 2 February 2019 at the first conference of the GEG, said a press release.
Mahboob Ali introduced post graduate diploma in enterprise development and master's degree in Economics (Entrepreneurship Economics) at Dhaka School of Economics after getting approval of University of Dhaka to enhance skill development and creating self -employment opportunity.
Ali previously started entrepreneurship programme at a private university as the first coordinator of the programme. He did his postdoctoral on entrepreneurial management from Naresuan University, Thailand.
