ACC approves charge against 391 people in a case
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday approved the charge-sheet in a case filed against 391 people for issuing licences to firearms through fraudulent means and using those, reports UNB.
Administrative officer of deputy commissioner's office of Rangpur Amulya Chandra Roy filed the case with Rangpur Kotwali police station on 18 May, 2017.
Assistant director of ACC Rangpur coordinated district office Atiqur Rahman investigated the case.
The ACC has given approval to the charge-sheet against 391 people, including accused office assistant-cum-computer operator of Judicial Munshikhana (JM branch), deputy commissioner's office, Rangpur.
The case originally was against a person but the involvement of 390 people was found during investigation.
The commission approved the charge-sheet against 391 people after receiving the investigation report.
