'BSF' shoots Bangladeshi to death
A Bangladesh national was shot to death allegedly by members of India's Border Security Force (BSF) along Dharmajaina border in Biral upazila of Dinajpur early Sunday.
The deceased Alam Hossain, 40, is from Eidgaon intersection area of Kamdebpur in Biral.
Dinajpur-2 BGB commander lieutenant colonel Gazi Nahiduzzaman confirmed the incident saying the location of the incident was within 50 yards off the no man's land to the Indian border.
Following sounds of gunshots around 1:00am locals went there and recovered his body, he added.
BGB has sent the body to the morgue of Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
We have also invited the BSF for holding a flag meeting, Nahiduzzaman added.
