Bullet-hit body found in Satkhira

A body with a bullet injury was recovered from Kuchpukur Bypass road area in the Sadar upazila of Satkhira on Thursday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased Kabirul Islam, 42, son of a certain Mukter Hossain, was an accused in Satkhira Awami League leader Nazrul murder case.

A police team went to the spot in the morning after learning about a gunfight between two gangs, said Sadar police officer-in-charge Mostafizur Rahman.

Kabirul's body was found there.

He was recently released on bail in Nazrul killing case, police said.
