BSF kills Bangladeshi on Jhenaidah border
India's Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi man inside their territory near Palianpur village of Maheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah on Sunday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahim, 50, son of Abul Quasem of Baulia village in Sejia Union.
Quamrul Ahsan, commanding officer of 58 Border Guard Bangladesh Battalion, said BSF disclosed the matter to them at a flag-meeting around 4:00pm.
Abdur Rahim along with several others entered India for bringing cattle. BSF shot him dead near pillar number 60 when he was returning around 4:00am, he said.
