Sarod performance in Wimbledon next Friday
Indrayuddh Majumdar, a Sarod player from India, scheduled to perform a magical Indian classical music instrument called Sarod in Wimbledon, the UK, on 29 June (Friday).
Saudha, a Merton-based leading classical music organisation, is presenting this performance at Merton Arts Space in Wimbledon Library at 7.30pm, according to a message received from London.
Indrayuddh will be accompanied by Aniruddha Mukherjee on Tabla during the performance curated by Indian classical vocalist in Europe Srimati Chandra Chakraborty. Indrayuddh is the son of legendry Sarod maestro Tejendranarayan Majumdar.
Director of Saudha Ahmed Kaysher was quoted to have said that Saudha is bringing world-class performance to South- London venues.
