Former South Africa coach in Dhaka for BCB interview
Former South Africa coach Russell Domingo arrived in Dhaka on Wednesday to attend an interview with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
However, it is not clear which position of the Bangladesh national team’s coaching staff he has applied for.
Domingo, who led South Africa to the semi-finals of the 2014 World Twenty20 and 2015 World Cup, is scheduled to leave Dhaka on Thursday.
After the departure of coach Steve Rhodes following a disastrous World Cup, the position lies vacant, but the Tigers have so far appointed former South Africa pacer Charl Langeveldt as the bowling coach and former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori as the spin coach.
