Beira-Rio, Alegre: only private stadium for World Cup
Estádio Beira-Rio Stadium situated near Guaíba River in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It is the home stadium for Sport Club Internacional. It is named after José Pinheiro Borda, an elderly Portuguese engineer who supervised the building of the stadium but died before seeing its completion.
It will host matches during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. It is one of the only 2014 FIFA World Cup stadiums, which is owned privately.
