IU holds seminar on child rights
A seminar on ‘child rights in Islam and in the United Nations’ was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Monday.
IU Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department organised the seminar at the conference room of the university’s Arts Faculty building around 12:00pm.
IU Theology faculty dean professor AFM Akbar Hossain addressed the seminar as the chief guest while Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies department professors Syed Maksudur Rahman and Jakir Hossain delivered speech. Chairman of the departmen, professor Ashraful Alam, was in the chair.
