Bangladesh will get 2.1 million (21 lakh) doses of Covid-19 vaccine by the first week of May, said DG of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) prof Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam on Sunday, reports UNB.


Most of these vaccines will be imported by Baximco Pharmaceuticals, he told reporters after an online discussion meeting marking the World Malaria Day.

Beximco Pharmaceuticals has been acting as an agent to bring the vaccines from the Serum Institute of India.
