ACC director suspended for liaison with graft suspect

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday suspended its director Mohammad Fazlul Haq for maintaining liaison with corruption suspects and leaking information of investigation, reports UNB.

The commission's public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said the ACC decided to suspend Fazlul Haq at a meeting held at its Segunbagicha office in the capital.

Fazlul was working at the commission's inquiry and investigation department.

ACC chairman Iqbal Mahmud told media that legal steps will be taken against those involved in irregularities.
