BRTC employees, drivers go on strike

The drivers and staffs of state-run Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation bus service went on a strike in the city's Joar Shahara depot on Tuesday demanding dues and arrears, reports UNB.

None of the buses left the depot following the strike.

BRTC chairman Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan said that staffs went on a strike demanding their dues.

However, their demands will be solved by this afternoon after a discussion with them, said the chairman.

A strike was held in last July.
