Petrobangla building fire extinguished

Fire broke out at the Petrobangla building in Karwan Bazar on Saturday morning, reports news agency UNB.

Ershad Liton, duty officer of fire service, said the fire was reported from the 13th floor of the 15-storey building around 9:26am.

Seven fire fighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 10:00am, he added.

There was no report of casualty.

The cause of the fire and extent of damage could not be known immediately.
