Trafficking victim returns from India after 2 years

A Bangladeshi girl who was trafficked to India two years ago has returned home, reports UNB.

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over the girl to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through Benapole check-post in Benapole on Friday evening, said company commander of Benapole BGB subedar Mizanur Rahman.

He also said non-governmental organisation justice and care has taken the girl under its custody and it will hand her over to the family.

Mizanur said the girl was trafficked to India two years ago.
