Woman found dead

Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from a paddy field at Rajiura in sadar upazila of Habiganj on early Thursday, reports UNB.

On information, police recovered the body around 1:30am, UNB quoted Md Masuk Ali, officer-in-charge of Habiganj sadar police station, as saying.

Police say they initially suspect that the victim had been strangled to death.

Imitation ornaments and an Ena Paribahan ticket for a Habiganj-bound bus from Dhaka were found in her bag, OC Ali said.

Later, the body was sent to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
