Electrocution kills 3 in Kishoreganj

Three people died from electrocution in Kishoreganj Sadar upazila's Karsha Karail union on Friday, reports UNB.

They are Harunur Rashid, 40, his son Bablu, 14, nephew Abu Syed, 10.

Karsha Karail union chairman Md Badar Udding said Syed came in contact with a live wire when he was riding his bicycle in the noon. As Bablu and Harun tried to save him, they also got electrocuted.

Syed, Bablu and Harun were rushed to Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College where they were declared dead upon arrival.

Physician Tanvir Ansari of Syed Nazrul Islam Medical said they were brought to the hospital already dead.
