Physician succumbed to road crash injuries

A young physician of Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) succumbed to road accident injuries on Monday at Dhaka Square Hospital, UNB reports.

Deceased Md Wahidur Rahman,36, was a junior consultant (medicine) of CMCH who sustained injuries from a motorcycle accident on 19 August at Agrabad area in Chattogram.

On 20 August, he was transferred to Asgar Ali Hospital through air ambulance as his condition turned critical.

Later he was sent to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn And Plastic Surgery and from there to Square Hospital as his condition worsened.

Wahidur was a former student of MBBS second batch at BGC Trust Medical College.
