Road crash kills 12 in Chattogram

At least 12 people were killed and two others injured in a fatal road accident at Padua in Lohagarah upazila in Chattogram on Saturday night, reports UNB.

Officer-in-charge of Lohagarah police station Zakir Hossain said the accident took place on Dhaka-Cox's Bazar highway around 10:10pm when a truck hit a human-hauler coming from the opposite direction, leaving 12 people injured.

They were taken to a hospital at Padua where physicians declared 10 of them dead.
