Youth crushed to death by train in Dhaka

A young man was crushed to death by a train on a level crossing at Bagicha in capital’s Khilgaon area early Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Shihab Uddin, 26, of Jamalpur district, reports UNB.

Shihab used to work as a cook, said inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police camp.

The train hit Shihab around 7:00am when he was trying to cross the level crossing, leaving him injured, said Bachchu Mia. Later, he was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. Shihab met the tragic death on the way to a kitchen market.
