Agami Education Foundation, sister concern of Agami Inc USA, has started distribution of food and other essential items to more than 3,000 households, who are affected by the lockdown, as a measure to contain the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

According to the AEF emergency response team, a total of 3,241 families in 13 Agami-supported schools, including one donor directed institution located in Dhaka, Gazipur, Comilla, Sylhet, Habiganj, Chittagong, Rangamati, and Jhenaidah have already received 12 kg rice, 8 kg potato, 2 liters Soybean oil, 2 kg salt, 2 kg lentil, 4 Dettol soaps each among other necessary commodities through second round of distribution, says a press release.

Currently, Agami is hosting a fundraising event to support and continue the food distribution campaign.

Agami authorities urged the local businesses and wealthy people of the society to join their effort to help tackle this global crisis.
