Another ACC employee dies from coronavirus

An employee of the Anti-Corruption Commission died from coronavirus at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the city Saturday.

The victim was Khalilur Rahman, ACC chief assistant

He died at DMCH at 1:00pm today, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.

Earlier on 6 April, its director Jalal Uddin Mohammad Saifuzzaman died from coronavirus at Kuwait Maitree Hospital in Uttara while undergoing treatment there.

Bangladesh’s confirmed coronavirus cases surged to 13,770 on Saturday after the health authorities announced the detection of 636 new patients in the last 24 hours.
