Cylinder blast burns five of a family

Five members of a family sustained burn injuries as a cooking gas cylinder exploded Thursday in South Keraniganj area of the capital city, reports UNB.

The incident took place around 9:00pm in the Bhir Bagoir area.

The injured were taken to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

South Keraniganj police station officer-in-charge Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the number of injured in the incident adding that the police couldn’t identify them as yet.
