A mobile court on Tuesday fined Tk 100,000 to a pharmacy in Savar for selling masks at a high price, reports UNB.

The mobile court, led by assistant commissioner (land) of Savar and executive magistrate Abdullah Al Mahfuz, found ‘Lazz Pharma’ selling masks at an exorbitant price.

Later, it slapped a fine of Tk 100,000 on the shop.

The High Court on Monday directed the government to operate mobile courts to prevent price hike of masks, hand wash and sanitiser following the detection of coronavirus patients in Bangladesh.
