PM Hasina to brief media Sunday

A high-level meeting chaired by prime minister Sheikh Hasina was held on Thursday over the incentive package to overcome the adverse impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on the country’s economy.

The meeting was held at the PM’s official residence Ganobhaban in the city in the evening, PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB.

The prime minister will hold a press conference at Ganobhaban at 10am on Sunday next to disclose the details in this regard, he said.

Finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, PM’s principal secretary Ahmad Kaikaus, governor of Bangladesh Bank Fazle Kabir, Finance Division senior secretary Abdur Rouf Talukder and PMO secretary Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah were present at the meeting.
