Couple allegedly commits suicide in Jashore

A couple reportedly hanged themselves with a single rope at Gopsono village in Keshabpur upazila of Jashore district on Friday, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Shamim, 30, and his wife Renuka Begum, 24.

The couple left behind a three-year-old son.

Neighbours said the family had been struggling with extreme poverty.

Officer-in-charge of Keshabpur police station Jasim Uddin said the bodies were sent to sadar hospital for autopsy.
