Mobile courts in Sylhet filed cases against 187 individuals and collected fines amounting to Tk 225,500 from individuals and businesses for violating restrictions on Friday, reports UNB.
Moreover, cases were filed against 94 vehicles and 116 seized during this time.
Law enforcers were seen very vigilant in ensuring the restrictions in the city.
Thirty three mobile courts were active in the city throughout the day.
Army personnel were seen patrolling Sylhet alongside police, RAB and BGB.
Meanwhile in Dhaka, police arrested 320 people from capital Dhaka for violating restrictions on Friday.
Also, mobile courts fined 208 people on the second day of restrictions.
Moreover, cases were filed against 68 vehicles and fined Tk 119,900 during this time.
