Tk 5 lakh reward for capturing Musa

A Tk 5 lakh reward has been declared for capturing Kamrul Sikdar aka Musa, the suspected murderer of Mahmuda Khanam, wife of former police super Babul Akter.

Chittagong metropolitan police commissioner Mohammed Iqbal Bahar announced the reward at a press conference on Thursday afternoon.

Capturing Mahmuda’s killer will help find the missing links of this case, the police added.

Police earlier denied the claim by Musa’s wife that her husband was picked up by the police on 22 June.

On 5 June Mahmuda Khanam was stabbed and shot dead in Chittagong city's GEC intersection.
