Lightning kills 3 in Rajshahi, Kishoreganj

At least three people including a minor boy died in three separate incidents of thunderbolts in Rajshahi and Kishoreganj districts on Tuesday, according to UNB. 

In Rajshahi, minor boy Abdullah, 7, son of Abdul Gani, died after being hit by a lightning strike while playing in the rain at his homestead at Chandalay village in Godagari upazila in the district.
In another incident, Salim, 30, was killed in a thunder-bolt while working at a rice field near his house at Shimla village in the same upazila.
Two other labourers were also injured by the lightning strike.
The injured were rushed to local hospital, said inspector (investigation) of Godagari model police station.
In Kishoreganj, Ikhlas Uddin, 14, son of Habi Mia of Hossainpur upazila was struck by lightning while playing at his house yard around 5:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.
