2 bikers killed in road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on the Nilphamari- Sayedpur road at Fultala area in the district town on Thursday night.

The deceased are Anil Kumar, 23, and Barman Ray, 21, both hailing from Koila Nichtala village in Sayedpur upazila.

The OC of Sayedpur police station Shahjahan Pasha said the accident occurred around 10:30pm, when a lorry and truck sandwiched the motorcycle they were on, crushing the duo with their weight and momentum.

The truck also drove over them, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
