Jhenaidah schoolgirl electrocuted

A schoolgirl was electrocuted at Pobhati in Jhenaidah district town on Friday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased is Ria Khatun, 10, a class-IV student of Pobhati Khane Khoda Primary School and daughter of Saiful Islam of the area.

Officer-in-charge of sadar police station Emdadul Haque Sheikh said Ria was electrocuted while switching on a light at her house around 11:00am, leaving her dead on the spot.
