Student crushed under train in Chattogram

A student of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) was crushed under the wheels of a train at Kumira in Sitakunda upazila in Chattogram on Monday, reports UNB.

The deceased is Kazi Sirat, a student of English department of the university.

GRP police station officer-in-charge Shahidul Islam said a train hit Sirat around 9:00am, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital morgue.
