Rickshawpuller killed in Chattogram

A rickshawpuller was killed as another rickshawpuller beat him severely with iron rod at Majargate area under Bashirshah police station in Chattogram on Sunday, reports UNB.

The deceased is Babul, 50.

SI Alauddin of Chattogram Medical College Hospital said the two rickshaw pullers locked into an altercation around 4:00pm.

At one stage of their altercation, the one yet to be named hit Babul with iron rod indiscriminately, leaving him severely injured.

Later, the injured was rushed to the hospital where duty physician declared him dead.
