6 Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan buses seized

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized six buses of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan for plying the Dhaka streets despite cancelation of its route permit by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).

The members of RAB-1 and RAB-4 seized the buses from different areas of the capital, said a text message of the force, reports UNB.

On 1 August, BRTA cancelled the registration and fitness certificates of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan amid public outcry as two of the company’s buses were involved in an accident that left two students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin School and College killed on Dhaka airport road on 29 July.
