Youth found dead in Jashore

An unidentified young man was found dead in a waterbody near a local mosque in City College area of the district town early Thursday, says UNB.

NaimurRahman, additional superintendent of Jashore Police, said getting bad odour from a water body adjacent to the mosque, local people informed police.

Later, police recovered the body wrapped in a polythene bag around 12:30am and sent it to Jashore General Hospital.

Police said miscreants might have killed the young man in another place and dumped the body here, said Naimur Rahman.

The hands and legs of the man were broken, said police.
