Cox’s Bazar road crash kills 4
At least four people were killed and eight others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a human hauler in Chakaria Upazila of Cox's Bazar on Tuesday morning, reports UNB.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The accident took place when a Dhaka-bound bus of 'Starline Paribahan' collided head-on with the human hauler in Baratoli Rastarmatha area around 1:00am, leaving four passengers of the leguna including its driver dead on the spot, witness said.
Being informed police rushed there and rescued the injured, said sub-inspector Nur Alam of Chakaria highway police.
Three critically injured were being taken Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, he added.
