Want development, vote for AL: LGRD minister

Local government, rural development and cooperatives minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain on Friday said there is no alternative to vote for the ‘boat’ symbol.

“The development of the country will be stopped if countrymen vote on any symbol other than boat,” the minister said, reports UNB.

He said this while addressing a mass gathering at Government Rajendra College ground in Faridpur in the afternoon.

The district unit of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) organised the gathering.

The government led by prime minister Shiekh Hasina has been working to make the country hunger and poverty free as was dreamt by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, he added.
