Bitter gourd is a popular vegetable in Bangladesh and Bagerhat is known for its good quality bitter gourd. Farmers from different corners bring their yield to the C&B Bazar, one among the noted wholesale vegetable markets in the country. Vegetables are supplied to other markets from here. Prothom Alo’s Saddam Hossain took pictures of the market on 14 September morning.
