Minor girl’s body recovered

Police recovered the decomposed body of a minor girl from Meghna river in Ramdasdi village of Chandpur on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Locals spotted the girl's body aged about six years from the spot and informed police, said Ibrahim Khalil, officer-in-charge of Chandpur model police station.

On information, police recovered the body in the afternoon, he added.

Police suspected that the girl might have washed away by the massive erosion of the Padma river in Naria upazila of Shariatpur district.
