4 workers sustain burn injuries in Gazipur mill blast

Four construction workers sustained burn injuries in an explosion in the compressor room of a spinning and knitting mill in Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur on Thursday, reports UNB.

The injured are Ripon Hossain, Gulzar Miah, Shahed Miah and Jahirul Islam.

Local fire service officials said a group of workers was working by the compressor room of Apex Spinning and Knitting Mills Ltd at Purba Chandara around 10:00am when the explosion took place.

The injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
