Two people were killed following after a car and a microbus collided with a parked CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Panchlaish in the port city of Chattogram early Sunday, reports UNB.

The deceased are auto rickshaw driver Md Hanif, 40, son of Md Mostafa of Halishahar Brick Field area and car passenger Md Fardin, 18, son of Abul Bashar Milon of Nasirabad Batagoli area in the city.

The collision took place when a microbus coming down from 'King of Chittagong' club hit a car which was going towards the club and the auto-rickshaw was standing on the road, leaving the duo critically injured, said sub-inspector Jahirul Haque, in-charge of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) outpost.

Later, the injured were rushed to the hospital where physicians declared them dead, he added.
