14pc pass DU ‘Kha’ unit admission test

Around 14 per cent of the total admission seekers passed the Kha unit admission test for first year honours courses of Dhaka University under academic session 2018-19. A total of 4747 admission seekers passed the exam against a total of 2,383 seats.
DU vice chancellor Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the result on Tuesday afternoon at the central admission office at the administrative building.
The entry test of the 'Kha' unit was held on Friday where a total of 33,897 students sit for exam. Earlier, a total of 35,726 applicants applied for the test.
A total of 272,512 admission seekers have applied for undergraduate courses against 7,128 seats under five units in 2018-19 academic sessions at DU.
This year, Ishrat Jalil Meem of Comilla Rehana Majid College has secured first position obtaining 168.2 marks out of 200.
Sajedul Islam of Sheikh Hasina Padma Pukur College under Jessore board and Rajuk Uttara Model College’s Sanjida Sharmin Godhuly have secured second and third positions respectively.
Results are available at website admission.eis.du.ac.bd. Students can also get their results by typing DU<>KHA<>Roll and sending SMS at 16321 number.
Passed students are asked to fill up their choice form from university website from 3:00pm 26 September to 3:00pm 10 October subject choice interview would be started from 21 October.
