Qatar Airways flight makes emergency landing

A Qatar Airways flight carrying around 350 passengers made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday night.

Airport sources said the flight left for Qatar in the evening, but soon found that two of its rear tires had problems.

The pilot then contacted the airport and made the emergency landing at 9:40pm, said fire service director (operations) major Shakil Newaz.

‘We were ready, so everything was done smoothly. The passengers are safe,” he said.
