President of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) Badruddoza Chowdhury on Saturday warned that people will not forgive if any party tries to foil the election, reports UNB.

Speaking at a discussion at BDB’s Badda election office, he also urged the Election Commission to create a level-playing field by discharging their duties independently.

B Chowdhury, also the chairman of Jukta Front, said his party did not make any coalition with those who betrayed the blood of martyrs of the 1971 liberation war.

He accused Kamal Hossain of forging a coalition with the anti-liberation forces. “They’ve recognised them (anti-liberation forces).”

The BDB leader said they deeply respect and remember historic leaders Bangabandhu, Ziaur Rahman, Moulana Bhasani, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Huq and MAG Osmani.

He bemoaned that no other parties mention the names of these leaders in their election manifestos.

At the programme, Sunamganj district BNP ex-general secretary Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury formally joined BDB.
