Local authorities in Nador on Tuesday arrested 13 Bangladeshi nationals from a house located in the city centre, reports Yabiladi.com.

However, the identity of the Bangladesh people could not be ascertained.

The police reportedly raided the house before arresting the people staying in it and opened a judicial inquiry.

“It seems that these foreign nationals were waiting for the opportunity to illegally cross the Mediterranean for Spain,” according to the Yabiladi.com report.

It added that the authorities will try to identify the network that was supposed to orchestrate the operation.

Several illegal migration networks operating in Morocco were said to have been dismantled since the beginning of this year.
