Jatiya Oikya Front chief Kamal Hossain on Sunday expressed deep concern over the overall election atmosphere, but said they would not quit the race, reports UNB.

He made the remarks while speaking at a press conference at Gano Forum office at Motijheel in Dhaka.

"I had expected that I would get good news from at least one place, but unfortunately I received no such news," Kamal Hossain, the Gano Forum president, said.

He said he was receiving phone calls every minute with the allegations of irregularities everywhere.

As per the constitution, people were the owners of the country where democracy would be the main principle, "But the colour of democracy which was manifested 47 years after the independence is unfortunate," he said.

The Oikya Front chief also said they would present the whole picture of the election before journalists after 6:00pm Sunday.
