Plastic factory catches fire

A fire broke out at a plastic factory at West Islambagh in city’s Lalbagh area on Thursday.

Ershadul Islam, duty officer of fire service and civil defence control room, said the fire broke out around 12:40pm at the tin-shed plastic factory and spread soon.

On information, 11 firefighting units went to the spot and were trying to tame the blaze till filling of this report around 2:00pm.

However, the cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
