‘BSF’ kills Bangladesh national along border

A Bangladeshi national was allegedly shot to death by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Bhujaripara border in Dimla upazila of Nilphamari early Tuesday, reports UNB.

The deceased is Khalilur Rahman, 23, son of a certain Moksed Ali of Paschim Chatnai village in the upazila.

The BSF members opened fire on Khalilur when he went to the no man's land in the early hours, leaving him dead, said Subedar Mobarak Ali, company commander of Dimla camp of BGB battalion-51.

A letter was sent to BSF seeking return of the body, he said.
