The government has postponed the national Vitamin-A Plus campaign scheduled for Saturday, reports UNB.

The Institute of Public Health Nutrition on Thursday said it put on hold the campaign for 'unavoidable' reasons.

The new date for the campaign will be announced later, the institute said in a press release.

The campaign was supposed to be held across the country on Saturday to feed Vitamin A plus capsules to all children aged between six months and 59 months.

Children, aged between six and 11 months, are given the blue-coloured high-powered Vitamin A capsules while those, aged between 12 and 59 months, receive the red-coloured ones during the campaign.
