Expatriate’s wife hacked dead

A housewife was hacked to death by a group of miscreants at Sonakanda in Bandar, Narayanganj on Saturday afternoon, reports UNB.

The deceased is Nahida Rahman, 35, wife of Singapore expatriate Asinur Rahman of the area.

Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bandar police station, said a group of miscreants carried out the attack at her house that left her dead on the spot due to excessive blood loss around 1:30pm.

Later, they set fire to the house and fled the scene.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy, the OC added.
